It was a tight vote all the way up to the last minute! Our two finalists for favorite user-submitted English title were HEARTSTRINGS (submitted by Imi) and I’M WITH STUPID (submitted by Roger Bentson). The deadline to vote was at 12 noon EST, Thursday, April 28 – and the winner is…

We’re going to contact the production company in Korea and let them know what you decided! And for those that missed the earlier poll of the existing English titles. The choices were FESTIVAL or YOU’VE FALLEN FOR ME. The winner of the existing English titles is….

A big thanks to everyone who participated. The enthusiasm was fantastic and we’ve got to do this again. In fact we are! We can’t decide between SPARKLING or TWINKLE TWINKLE for 반짝반짝 빛나는 (Banjjak Banjjak Bitnaneun). Let us know what you think here.

You've gotta be kidding me... This sounds like a really lame and bad joke that made it into the news as the truth. As the drama is described as a melodrama, the name sounds way to joke-sy and does not seem to meet the overall tone and vibe of the drama description. And unless the band takes centrestage in the plot, I don't see why the name of the band should be in the title. I'd prefer the original title, You've Fallen For Me, bland as it is over this. At least, it does not give the impression that this is a slap-stick comedy when it isn't.

I agree with @checkinout, is this a joke? That title does not fit the drama description at all. Even 'You've Fallen For Me' sounds better and more fitting. Is this how all these Korean dramas are named?

I agree with the other commenters. Even "Stupid in Love" would have been a better choice. And the production company is going to find out that this is what us American drama watchers came up with?? This is so embarrasing!

I like I'm With Stupid. I think it's a great name for a light summer romance drama. And I don't know which description you were reading but it sounds like a romance to me. Modern rock boy falls for traditional music girl and traditional music girl falls for rock boy.

But Literati, it's been described as a "youth melodrama", not a light summer romance. This is directly from dramabeans, so I don't know which description YOU were reading. (http://www.dramabeans.com/2011/03/youre-beautiful-duo-reteams-for-festival/) (Sorry if we can't post links) It's a romance, sure, but I don't think it's going to be as light-hearted as You're Beautiful. The two names have completely different tones, and I don't think I'm With Stupid fits the (supposed, I guess we won't really know until it starts airing) more serious theme. I actually really liked Heartstrings, thought it was appropriate and a rather clever play on Park Shin Hye's gayageum. Oh well, I guess I can't complain too much since I couldn't come up with anything better myself.
