Did Nam Gyu Ri Get Plastic Surgery?

Nam Gyu Ri who starred in 49 Days confessed in an interview that she used the power of plastic surgery. She expressed disappointment at the poll “Stars with the most shocking past” by the most famous Korean entertainment TV show (한밤의 TV연예) in which she took the second place.

Confessing that she had worn braces and gone through a few facial surgeries, she also said that, although she wants to claim that her face looked similar before the surgery, she feels embarrassed to say this herself.

Before and after of Nam Gyu Ri isn’t as dramatic as some other Korean actresses but she still seems pretty different after.

I think she made the right decision by undergoing plastic surgery. Don’t you agree?

No, I don't agree. I think she looked fine before. A little nip and tuck is ok, but she's gone a step too far into looking more like a doll than a girl. Also, the circle lenses are too much. I do, however, agree that she made the right decision to come clean about doing plastic surgery, since it is so blatantly obvious. I respect her honesty.

I think she was pretty to begin with, in a cute way, but maybe not enough to become as big of a celeb as she is now. Personally, i would have been quite happy looking like her in the second picture. I am impressed that she came clean about her procedures, but I still hate when celebs get major plastic surgery. I love that Eugene hasn't done anything plastic, and she's ok with that. Of course she's so beautiful that she definitely doesn't need anything, but it's good to know that there are still korean celebs who feel confident enough in their looks to not touch it.

I thought she was pretty cute in the second pic. You can tell that she had braces in the first pic. They always have a way of making your face look a little bigger. I commend her for coming clean about it but it is not surprising since this seems to be the norm.

So she got a nose job and had double-eyelid surgery. And had braces and had her teeth whitened, too. Who in Hollywood doesn't do the same thing? The culture values appearance. Now England is known for its "untouched" actors, but they seem to be doing just fine. Depends on the culture, in my opinion.

i can tell she got a nose job.. double eyelid and injected something in her forehead to make it more round.. but nothing other than that.. still alot but there are people who have done much more

Some people in the entertainment business get plastic surgery all the time. I don't see the big deal. From these photos she looks the same to me. If she did get some work done, who cares? This is nothing new, it's not like she is the first person to get surgery if she did. I like the old photo.

All of you people saying "who cares if she got plastic surgery!" are HYPOCRITES. i wonder if she looked the same way now as she did before you'd bother to praise her. come on. it's showbusiness. how many times have YOU guys nitpicked and ridiculed actors for their recent weight gain and spontaneous, paparazzi-taken, outdated outfits? people in general like to look at beauty and shun ugliness. why do you think these celebrities go to so much trouble to become beautiful? it's because of the pressure to please the audience. let's admit it. apart from obvious talent, a gorgeous appearance also plays an important part in the success of actors and musicians. it'se the first thing we notice and the thing we base our first impressions on.

Nam Gyu Ri has her nose done! Among asian girls korean girls are quite ugly looking, most of them have flat nose,broad face and without double eyelid but majority korean male actor are born with good looks,body and height.

@helen Erm...I'll have to respectfully disagree. I'm not judging based on celebrities, I'm judging based on the multitude of Koreans in the area where I live and the students who used to room with my family. Individuals vary too much to make that kind of judgement. Besides, it's such a subjective subject. As for the plastic surgery, I've never really cared about surgery itself. I do admire people who are honest about it (like Dolly Parton!). As for judging people in the tabloids, I'm usually rooting for the people on the worst dressed list :p. Kindred spirits ;).

This is just my two cents of thinking. But, I think whatever the reason is, plastic surgery is wrong. It's like living with lies and showing lies throughout your life. However, Nam gyuri is really pretty. She was pretty and now she is even prettier. I respect her bravery in admitting that she had gone through plastic surgeries. I also think that she has a really nice personality and it really makes her adorable :)
