I really recommend and hope that everyone will go out and see it! Here are my picks for the cast: Katniss: Kim Tae Hee- I'm a tad Iris biased, but in her role as Choi Seung Hee, she really made a lasting impression on me. She can come off as strong and serious but also tap into her more sentimental side. I usually feel as if female roles are lacking, but she really made the drama for me. Peeta: I can only think of Kim Hyun Soo or Lee Min Ho. Both are excellent actors. Minho may be able to do the physical aspect of the character a lot better though... Casear Flickerman: Lee Jun Ki (I'm thinking along the lines of The King and the Clown. He can sell over-the-top characters.) Rue: Kim Yoo Jung- She's so sweet! Primrose Everdeen- Kim Ji Won (Kim Tae Hee from What's Up) Cato: T.O.P- Overall, I think that in real life he would have an intense presence. If given a strong character (like Vic) he would do well. Plus, I want to hear him yell. Low voices sound harsher and have a lot of impact. President Rose: Kim Yoo Suk- I absolutely hated him in Dong Yi, because of the character he had to portray. Obviously, that was the writers intentions... He could easily play a dictator. (His little laugh in Dong Yi always drove me up a wall.) Haymitch- Lee Byun Hun? Gale- Bang Sung Joon- He has strong facial features and could easily mask his feelings. Or Jung Jin Young from Dong Yi. Katniss Everdeen- Kim Ji Won. Loved her in What’s Up she has a great balance of softness and strength. Gale Hawthorne- Joo Won. A little old to be playing an 18 year old, he is 25, but Ojakko Brothers proves he can play the quiet suffering hero type but Baker King shows that when the role gets more complex he can keep up. Peeta Mallark- Jo Jung Suk. This one was hard to cast since most boys in Kdramas look like you could break them if you shook them too hard and Peeta is supposed to look physically strong. I loved him in What’s Up but it was King 2 Hearts that really sold me. Rue- Kim Yoo Jung. The Moon That Embraces the Sun, I think that’s all that needs to be said. Caesar Flickerman- Jung Sung Hwa. He proved in Personal Taste that he can pull off a flashy role like this. Effie Trinket- Yoon Yoo Sun. You usually see her in strong traditional mother type roles like in Goong but she also does comedy well in My Girlfriend is a Nine Tailed Fox so I would love to see her a big flamboyant role like this. Haymitch Abernathy- Yun Jung Hoon. He plays torched really well on Vampire Prosecutor and I think he would do a great job as the mentor. Cinna- Kim Jae Wook. My Hunger Games as KDrama casting would be as follows: Katniss: Park Min Young - Anyone who has seen City Hunter knows she can kick ass, plus she would be perfect at pulling off Katniss' complicated emotions. Peeta: Lee Joon - He looks amazing blonde, and he can definitely portray the emotional side that character needs. Good looks aside, Joon's ability to portray emotion is the number one reason I think he should be Peeta though. Gale: Kim Bum - Tough as nails, but has a super sweet side. It would be perfect. Primrose: Bang Joon Seo - She's adorable and young enough, it would be perfect! Effie: Jung JooRi - She would simply be perfect. There is no reasoning for it, other than it's perfect! Ceasar: T.O.P - Good looking guy with a strange sassy edge, plus he looks awesome with crazy colored hair! Cato: Lee Minho - He can kick butt like no other, is beyond good looking, and frankly it's about time he plays a villain. Glimmer: Ham EunJung - She can play a bitch really well (as seen in Dream High) and Glimmer's personality suits her in my opinion Rue: IU - She is adorable and has all the qualities that Rue has. Thresh: DaeSung - No real reason, I just think he could pull it off. He has the right attitude. Foxface: Goo Hara - She has the sly look that fox face does. Seneca: G.O - He is sexy and dangerous but yet caring and wanting to please people, all of which are traits that Seneca possesses. President Snow: Ahn Suk Hwan - I've seen him in 2 different dramas and his characters are always different from each other and Snow is something I think he could do without flaw. Especially because of his character in "Personal Taste", he knows how to be sly but still get people to do whatever he wants. That was a lot harder than I expected it to be. But I enjoy my casting!! I relied on my obsessive drama knowledge to try t pick up my favorite Hunger Games goes Kdrama cast. Enjoy! Katniss- Han Groo. She pretty proved she was badass in Girl K and could bring that toughness to Katniss's character, especially during the HG. Peeta- Yoon Shi Yoon. after seeing him in Baker King, I think he would bring the emotion to Peeta's character. Peeta doesnt seem to have many words, but he has overwhelming emotion which YSY can emote. Gale- Lee Min Ho. I find Gale is intense and is very protective of Katniss. After seeing LMH in City Hunter, he could bring that quiet intensity to Gale. Even though the character of Gale isnt featured heavily in the movie, I remember his scenes well and his longing looks. Effie- Im Ye Jin, better known as Jan Di's mom. She brought the crazy silliness to that character and I think she could portray Effie as a serious, while looking utterly ridiculous.. Rue- Kim Yoo Jung. She played Yeon Wol so well in Moon that Embraces the Sun. She has the acting chops to portray Rue. Many of the actresses I thought of were too old to portray Rue. Haymitch- Lee Sun Gyun. Even though he is the "voice" I think he always plays the a great gruffy character. He could totally pull off Haymitch. . Cinna- Cha Seung Won. This was a hard choice for me, but I didnt want to go with someone overly theatrical. He would be one hell of a stylist...dont you think. Yes Chep!

Username: Emily235 Okay, so I'm pretty confident with this group of people, even though I had to think quite a bit to actually come up with them... XD Here We Go: Katniss: Park Min Young, without a doubt. She played the action/ badass female in City Hunter, which showed she can play that side, but she can also act out the vulnerable, emotion female- which is essential for the fiery Katniss. She can also pull off acting as a teenager, as she looks so young. I think she'd be perfect. Gale: Lee Min Ho. I didn't really mean to do the whole Min/Min couple, but it turned out that way. I think that Lee Min Ho's be perfect for this role- in my eyes, Gale was the best friend sort of character- the attractive best friend that has secret feelings for you. His joking side show the best friend part, and yet Gale's other personality trait of being the supportive companion with a hidden passion would be perfect with Lee Min Ho- with his manliness, and then the subtle emotions that he can convey- in his eyes. ( You know what I mean, right!?) Peeta: DaeSung! ( Big Bang) I really think he'd be good for the role of Peeta- he has the boy-next-door ( or rather- 'boy-with-the-bread) quality to him, as he has a very kind air to him. But he can also pull off the stop-at-nothing protectiveness that Peeta has for Katniss. Plus, I don't know why, but I can just picture him icing a cake. You know? He's also rather similar to the American actor who played Peeta.... Effie Trinket: UEE! 'm not really sure why, but this one just sort of popped out at me, They both have a ditzy sort of air about them. I'm not sure many other people would say this, but I think she could do it. Cinna: Kim Bum ( Now...not BoF days.) I think with just a little bit of eyeliner, maybe a little of make-up, he could be Cinna. He has such a kind look in his eyes- a look that Cinna would have. Plus, Kim Bum can play the incredibly supportive and big brother attitude that Cinna has. Haymitch: Jun Woo Sung. There was no contest for me with this. He is such a versatile actor, from bounty hunter, to dedicated lover, to shy fireman, to innocent prisoner. What can't he do? His rough look would hep out with the alcoholic Haymitch. Caesar Flickerman: T.O.P. I can't even tell you why- I would just like to see it. XD Madge: IU! She's the right age for Katniss, but I don't think she could play the roughness of the character. Madge, however, is right up her avenue. The quiet, yet kind girl. (Just for Fun): Greasy Sae: Park Jun Geum. (You probably dont know who that is- it's Kim Joo Won's mother in Secret Garden) Yeah...basically, she makes me so angry in Secret Garden that I think she would be perfect for this role. And Chaewon just being pretty and then dying pretty early on. Gale: Kang Dong Won...if he was younger. Yeahh I could only think of the supporting roles...the thing with Katniss is the actress needs to be fit and sure there are plenty that fit that but for everyone mentioning Ha Ji Won..she's a bit too old? I mean I love her but..no. And for Park Min Young? I don't think she really matches the look. Katniss isn't supposed to be beautiful. Just average and and I don't think Park Min Young has that average kind of look. For Peeta...ehh too many people that could fit his role. And I think it would really depend on who Katniss was - y'know so they look good together and all that. It really bothered me that in the movie Peeta was shorter than Katniss..
