Arang and the Magical Brick

Arang and the Magistrate is filled with all sorts of magical elements. There are ghosts, and reapers, a goat who grows a pretty flower garden on his back, and even a witch of sorts who plays with pots in her basement.

However there was one magical element that truly stunned us… well, it stunned me! WHERE DID THAT BRICK COME FROM?! Lord Choi got so angry at his minion he threw a brick right at his head and I could not stop laughing! Not to mention he threw the brick at him AGAIN later on in episode 11 (LOL)!!

Am I the only one wondering WHY Lord Choi has freakin loose bricks laying around in his house?! Don’t get me wrong, it’s funny, but it’s just so random, isnt it?! I feel if this continues that minion is gonna need a house call from Dr. Jin.

Seriously! And how hard is that minion's head that it only did that much instead of knocking him out cold? LOL! It was quite random.

It looks like wood grain on whatever the object is to me. I was wondering the first time he threw it what it was, and I think it looks like one of the wooden boxes that they keep things like brushes in.

It is a wood block. Look at it. It is used to keep rolled up paper scrolls open to read. All the old drama shows have them. There are usually two on a desk. By the way DramaFever....When are you going to fix the problem of your shows not keeping correct track of episodes already watched. And I get little square boxes instead of check marks next to episodes. What's that about?

O.M.G you guyssss! in my eyes it was totally a BRICK! Maybe it was a wood block but I clearly saw it as a brick the first time he threw it at his minion! I still think its a brick but this debate is so fun LOL "Is it a Brick or a block of Wood?!"

It totally looks like a brick. It bounced off his head LIKE a brick and it hit the floor LIKE a brick. Therefore, it must be a brick. Right?

I don't even watch this show and it looks like a brick. Why does this guy have it on the floor if its a scroll holder? Hilarious! So glad I wasn't living back in those times.

I laughed so hard at the random brick throwing. Makes for a funny moment, but it is very wtf!? Where does he keep it? In his robes? Under his bedding? Or is it just decoration? Because everyone likes a random brick here and there.

LOL I always find it funny when he throws that brick looking block. I think it's wood cuz the second to last time (since episode 14) that he threw it, there was a hollow wood like sound when it hit the floor after it had hit the minion's head. But seriously...how did that guy's head take getting hit like that? I'd been knocked out cold if I'd gotten hit with it.

It's clearly a paper weight. Come on guys...you have had to watch at least one historical drama before. Those paper weights are everywhere in k-drama land. Lets stop playing stupid. Yes, the fact he threw the thing at the minion was funny (and well deserved in my opinion), but lets not belittle the drama. Common sense will carry you a long way my friends. Trust Me.
