We need your feedback! Here at DramaFever we’ve been working behind the scenes to bring you a better way to watch dramas. With our next version of the DramaFever video player, we tried to answer many of your requests, and bring you new features to make your viewing experience even more enjoyable. While we test out the player on a few series, we’d love to get your feedback! Let’s take a brief tour of some of the new features of the DramaFever video player.

Right away you’ll notice that the player control bar is larger and easier to read and navigate (and don’t worry, it goes away when you’re not using it). See the “Subtitles” icon at the top right corner?

One of the requests we hear from you most frequently is that you’d like to customize the way subtitles appear. Now you can! You can choose white, yellow, or white with a black background (which will show up clearly in ANY scene). You can also choose the size of your subtitles: small, medium or large. No more squinting! Want to watch without any subtitles at all? Now you have that option. Very soon, we will be adding the option of Spanish language subtitles, too! Now let’s look at the “Share” tab.

Watching an episode you know your friend would love? Send it to their email, or share it on Facebook, Twitter or Google+ with the touch of a button. You can even send out the episode to several friends at once! Sharing episodes helps our community grow, and makes watching dramas a lot more fun! Finally, let’s look at the icon with the three dots in the lower right corner. This gives you control over your video streaming.

If you’ve ever had trouble streaming video or episodes that take too long to buffer, we think you’ll appreciate this improvement. Do you have a slower internet connection? Switch to Low to watch with fewer interruptions. Is your internet speedy, or would you rather watch in higher resolution? Switch to high and enjoy the show. Would you like to watch in 720p high definition? Premium members can enjoy a beautiful high def picture with the new video player! Don’t want to choose? No problem, the player chooses the best picture for you, based on your internet speed.

Where can you test out the new DramaFever player? We’re asking our community to watch an episode of one of the following series which are now utilizing the new video player, and give us your feedback on the experience. The series currently using the new player are:

I really like the new player esp. the ability to change to subtitles. Some shows are so hard to read in the one color. I like the ability to change and that they move above the control bar instead of being cut off by it. Thanks for all the great stuff you guys do at DramaFever

Great job; you people are awesome. Haven't noticed anything that bothers me yet. The subtitles are a bit thinner which might bother some people, but I personally like it better this way.

I'm loving the ability to change the colors of the subtitles! My mom has a lot of trouble reading the subtitles on Running Man because she can't see the yellow with the words behind it. So, I think this will help her a lot!

The new options are welcome change! I am so glad for the HD option because we end up switching to other rooms to use Dramafever via Roku because of the quality that comes through, whether it is poor or not. The color change of subtitles is finally here too! Although I don't have elderly eyes like my mom who complains often not being able to read them, the yellow pre-set on some dramas was killing me. Glad for this change! Now my next question is when will these changes come to Roku/Ipad? Still not as user-friendly as the website, please don't forget those applications that many of us use!

I can tell you right now, that red progress bar is obnoxious. I don't like it at all. It's too intrusive when it appears while actively viewing. The location of the current bar off the screen is much better, and the discreet coloring the current one uses is more attractive as well. I also prefer the old font as well. It feels more inviting than the new subtitle font. However, I do like the subtitle options regarding size and shading. It will make watching shows that use a lot of Chyrons like Running Man easier to understand. Thanks for taking the time to request feedback. It's why this is my favorite site to watch Dramas.

I tried watching Faith and the only problem I had was with the subtitles. They were often late or not at all. The quality of the picture was great though. And i liked the bar on the bottom. I did check the subtitles to make sure they were on- which they were.

I like the new format. The video starts immediately without a lot of download and plays clearly. The options are clear and easy to follow. I recommend DramaFever to everyone interested in watching Kdramas.

The player looks great, but the sync sub feature isn't working with Internet Explorer or Firefox. I've watched a couple different dramas and have noticed that this is a concurrent issue. I like the sync subs incase I miss something. Other than that, no complaints. Looks great!

Love the added subtitle options - especially the option for none! I do like how the subtitles "jump" when the red bar appears, but the bar does seem rather large and interferes with viewing.

I like the idea of being able to change the font sizes but when I go to full screen the largest font size is actually smaller than then with the regular player. So I can't read them farther from the screen. I usually do full screen on my 27" monitor and sit back a ways from it in a comfortable chair. Can't do it with the new format.

Really enjoy the new player, especially the ability to change subtitle size and background, or forego subtitles altogether. Also the HD looks pretty fine to me on the laptop!

The largest font is kinda small, and thin. It'll be better if it's one or two size larger and BOLD. I prefer the red control bar underneath the picture instead of in the picture. Everything else looks great!!! Thanks guys!

Love it. Only thing is the bright red progress bar could be a tad smaller, and not bright red, as that is distracting and annoying every time your mouse moves a tad. Don't worry, we'll find the thing even if it's a color that blends into the background and is semitransparent. Lol. The HD is awesome, the sub-size/color/background selections are a great improvement, and the streaming is working nicely now. 잘 했어요

I really like the new player. My internet connection isn't always reliable, so I really like being able to change back and forth between the quality. It also seems to be a lot easier to skip around to different points withing an episode.

Love the fact that you can now change the font around to how you like it! Sometimes you couldn't read the yellow text. I watch from my Google TV though and even the largest font size is much, much smaller than what it used to be. Hopefully that's fixed soon or you release the Google TV app. Everything else is GREAT, thanks DramaFever!!

Well first of all, I'm glad that you're continuously trying to improve your website for us users. And overall I like the ability to change the subtitle size and color but there are a few bugs. First of all, the subtitle size option is independent of the video size. In other words, you do not choose a size relative to the size of the your player on the screen. So when I switch between the small player and full screen, I annoyingly have to keep changing the size because it is either too big or too small for one or the other. I hope you can improve on this. But I do like the option to change the quality of the video. That's a plus. But sad to say, all these changes is itching on my bad side. In all honesty, the red progress bar is annoyingly big and useless. For one, there's less accuracy/resolution in seeking through the video length. Your old player had so much better accuracy. In fact, this was one feature I hated when I watched videos on my Android Tablet. It's nice and flashy but the quality and performance is compromised and I think that is what a lot of developers tend to overlook these days. Shiny new things aren't exactly the best. And I would have to extend this comment to your website in general. You have improved the overall look of your site but it seems you've added too much detail that it's actually reducing overall performance by requiring our browsers to load more data. It's not as smooth as before. I know I'm just a needle in the haystack but I hope you take my opinion into consideration.

I really like the new player and I also see improved subtitles on my Roku on these Dramas listed, is this a benefit from the player and will it affect the other Dramas. I often have to turn off the Roku and go back to my laptop to read subtitles that blend into the background there. Will the player ever be part of the Dramafever experience on Roku.

First and foremost, the ability to change the color of the subtitles is the best thing you guys could give us viewers (not including more drama's). Now the question is WHEN can we get this viewer on Roku??? Thank you so much for listening to those of us who requested other color subtitles. The old viewer is easier on the eyes. So if you could possibly work the subtitle change into that I think you'd have a huge hit.

I was directed here from twitter to try out the new player for Android 4.1 devices. However, this player still seems to be flash based, which doesn't support Android 4.1, so it still will not work. I was told however that a native Android player was in the works, any way I can help test that?

I can't get over how amazingly clear and crisp the hi-def shows are! Video on Dramafever has always been better than other streaming sources, but this is an insane improvement even over that. Now if only the old shows like Coffee Prince were available in hi-def, too... Also, the ability to customize the subtitles will be a big help. (I also love the subtitles in the sidebar, so I can read back if I missed anything.) The only thing I wish was possible would be real fast forwarding and rewinding with your current location showing on the screen. That would make it easier to skip boring parts and re-watch good ones.

Dear DF I know you are trying to be even more better, but sometimes too much can make things worse. Please make the red bar smaller, second I can barely see the movie, there is something off with the pixels. I tested Arang....and Faith...and the quality is like if you have copy/pasted the transmission from somewhere, there is fog over the streaming, colors are not true and at times spots are blurr, very hard on the eyes and NOT THE QUALITY I would expect for a premium/paid subscription. My internet is the same. - This was unexpected. I wrote to you previously 2 emails regarding technical glitches with fonts at Login and Search it seems now that this is fixed thank U:) The only good is the white fonts and increased letter size like on HUlU. - Is the pixel quality and color fixable?

Hello I really like the new player but I am no longer able to see it in my smart TV (I used to be able to) It says that I have to enable cookies but cookies are already enabled... I am disappointed since that is the way I see DramaFever... :( Im a premium member (It just so happens that I was watching Boys over flowers and I cant anymore... Please help me is there is anyone that watches Drama Fever in Smart TV... I dont want to cancel the subscription...

Ahh...first off, i'd like to say that the player's style isn't very appealing. due to the large controls, it makes the player seem like it's those low quality players. while before the changed players, it seemed higher class and neater. Second, the quality of the videos seems obviously lowered. Even on High-quality. While before the player changed, the quality of the video was much higher-quality.

Don't really like the new player. Just yesterday, I was happily enjoying watching Running Man...picture was good, subs good, streaming all good. I come to the site today to find a new (clunkier) player and find that picture quality is horrible and choppy playback (which very well may be my browser as I am and have been using IE and tried the new player with Chrome and had no choppy playback, but I much prefer IE). The old player wasn't as conspicuous and served its purpose well.

Thank you thank you so much for this enhancement. I don't know if you remember but a few months ago, I emailed the helpdesk about the running man subtitles. Thanks for adding the black background, it makes it easier to read the subtitles - specially with all the written side comments on running man. My one comment is that the subtitles may be big when the screen is small (when you choose large text) but the texts do not enlarge with the screen. When you're watching on a big monitor, and the whole video is enlarged, you now have very small subtitles. Room for improvement perhaps?

Good job on the new look!! I really enjoy being able to pick the subtitles color and size. With that being said, I do have a few issues when it comes to the these new changes. As many people have mention, the font doesn't keep the size when the video is on full screen. The font is pretty tiny compare to when it is on just the web page. I also find it annoying to have to check the font size, color, and streaming quality on every episode. It is frustrating to have to stop the video to have to change these options for every episode. Would be nice if the system would remember these things instead of having to change them every episode. I will say the red bar is distracting but at least it doesn't cover the subtitles. Over all I really like the idea of where Dramafever is heading. Hope these suggestions help.

Ok, I've played with it some more, and the red bar? /Still/ annoying. But now, half way through episode 9 of Faith, the subtitles don't match and nothing I do fixes it. Drama Fever, I love you guys a lot. Enough to pay for a service I wouldn't mind using for free because I want to support you guys. But please remember that streaming can be bandwidth intensive, and the more bells and whistles you add, the more strain on the download. A simple well designed site is often a better choice. Also, I will admit I'm pretty cranky about the subs thing, so this might come off sounding a little harsh. Mian.

The wide red bar for the player is quite strong visually, but not the end of the world. That size may work better for those using devices with smaller screens. (As with the other icons for CC and the like.) The main thing that I have noticed to the negative is a weird half a moment pause that often occurs in the video itself just before a new sub shows on the player. It's very distracting, and even if I change the quality, the pause does not go away. It doesn't happen 100% of the time, but it's definitely more than 60%, and is particularly noticeable during heavy dialog sequences. In many cases, the sound sync winds up being that half a moment off due to the pause. I never had a pause issue like this with the old player, so I honestly don't believe it's my connection, especially after having tried to change the video quality level. This is not the same as when vids are posted where the sub snyc is just off (which happened a few times with I Need Romance 2012, I recall, although they were fixed later.) Although I do want to say thank you for bringing back the checkmarks, I'm already seeing an issue where the check is not showing up automatically with some videos. I haven't had a chance to test a theory more definitively, but I think that's happening with vids where I've watched them before, and I manually unchecked them when I'm watching them again (like I currently am with Dong Yi). I have to manually check them after watching them for the check to take place. I'll try to catch up with Faith and a few other new shows to see if that is the difference with the checks or not. Overall, I find the player UI appears more cartoonish than the old player, but since it fades away after a few moments into play, it's not a deal breaker for me. My two copper.

The subs are off, which can be disconcerting if you don't know the drama you're watching. Also the playback stopped while loading a subtitle and didn't start back up for a while - I prefer the old look. Why fix something if it isn't broken?

The old site was awesome, had no problems with it at all, that's why I became a premium member it was really worth it. Now I'm not sure the aggravation is worth it at all and it shame because this was my favorite site for watching K Dramas

I finished the most recent episode of Running Man and didn't have one problem with it. I played with the size of the subtitles and since I had it at full screen the biggest size was fine. My favorite thing---if you click on the running time bar the subtitles move up!!!! I tend to get anxious at the end of shows and want to see how much longer until the end. I can do this w/o worrying about missing subtitles. Love it.

I love the option to adjust the color and size of the subtitles. I often watch Dramafever by hooking it up to my living room tv and my sofa is pretty far from the screen so this will help a lot. The subtitles on the episode of Faith I was watching were not synced, but I'm assuming that's just a temporary error and not an effect of the new player. While I like the new video player, I am not fond of the changes that have been made to my "currently watching" show history. There are definitely some glitches and I hope they get fixed. For example, I used to be able to click on resume watching and go right to where I was but now it takes me back to episode 1 and then have to hunt for the ep I was watching. Thanks for your continued efforts to improve Dramafever.

  Like you, Candace, I've been having the same problem, only worse, for some time now. I wrote to dramafever about it and thus far the problem persists. Not only does the resume doesn't work, the pause also has the same effect. When you press play again it just direct the episode back to the beginning. With the new format now, the advertisements freeze and just stay frozen. When you click refresh or reload, it starts the show from the beginning again. Frustrating to say the least. Having said all that, my one suspicion is does this happen only to subscribers who are not premium members. Reason I say that is because you (and now me) are the only one commenting on this problem here. Is it a case of beggars can't be choosers? I've stopped writing to dramafever staffers because it seem to do no good although I must commend them and the site for the wonderful dramas posted. My consolation is watching Korean dramas on Netflix now. I would like to know whether you are a premium member or not just to see whether I've any grounds to my suspicion. Thank you.

    Yup! I've had the same problem. The ads freeze, I can't continue an episode and even if I pause the ad, I can't pause the actual video, which means I'll have to start all over once I reload the page (and start over the ads). Btw I'm also not a premium member. I don't mind the ads but I don't like how there are 2-minutes worth of them every 7-10 minutes of the episode. 3 dots I'm okay with, but SIX??!! All that aside I DO like the new design: dim-lights function, brighter home page, and the whole layout as far as vids being currently watched and the New/Popular panel scroll-over viewing. It's really awesome, I think, to see how popular dramafever has become to not only get more sponsors but to give info about film festivals and show concerts, etc. It's cool to also witness how k-dramas are getting more international recognition that makes way for k-pop culture to be recognized as well.

My response is the things that work are great. But I can't watch the videos. I read ep. of I am Sam.. to get to the last one and I can't watch it. I switched to A Gentlemen's Dignity and watched up until ep 17 which I can't watch. I am ticked to put it mildly. Even setting to slow speed doesn't work. The sync subtitles doesn't work either, even when I have been able to watch.

I watch one show of Coffee Prince and found no problems at all. I love that you can change the size and color of the text. That will work wonders on the shows that are bright. Okay with the Red Bar, since You don't see it when your viewing, it's not a problem. Actually had a very good experience. Oh, If I want to change to High Def, although it recommends Hi, Can I change it? Thanx for providing me the oppotunity to try this out. I'm Really diggin' it!

I’m not a fan of the new video player. I like the different subtitle options but I’m not crazy about the font. The red bar is rather annoying. The old one was much nicer as it wasn’t so big and didn’t feel like it got in the way of the video when I’m watching. This red one feels like it is being thrown at me. Also, I don’t know if it’s just because this is new and may have a few bugs but the resolution sucks even though I have it on high and it doesn’t play very well. There is no difference between the low and high resolution. I have never had a problem with playing a video until this player. It kinda feels like I am being forced to get premium or to go somewhere else. Because of these few things I just want to hit the back button and take my drama needs somewhere else. Overall, I think it has great potential but I think it needs some tweaking.

  I don't like it. There is no difference between Low resolution and medium. I can't get Hi def cause Im broke. Also its very laggy. I know it is not my internet connection because it wasn't like this with the other video player. I like the features it has but what is more important to me is how the video looks. It skips/pauses a little every few seconds so the subtitles stay the same and I have to guess what they say next. I really enjoyed the old video player please switch it back. Also the red video player is with Heartstrings too.

Thank you for your ongoing efforts to enhance viewing enjoyment on DramaFever. I watched the first episode of Brain and really liked the ability to change color and size of the font. The right font will make it so much easier to watch and read at the same time. I didn't use the sharing capability; however, this will be great to use when a particular episode or scene tickles me to share with my daughter. Since I'm the greedy type, I'm requesting the ability to control the font color and size with Roku. I love watching on my tv big screen and have found myself going to my laptop to watch a show, because I cannot read the subtitles. Thank you all for all your hardwork!

Everything worked smoothly and it was very easy to figure out how the new interface worked. The caption options is a welcome improvement. The big red scrub bar is... well... big, but as it disappears promptly, it's not an issue. The ability to choose lower resolution is also helpful for when I'm on the road in a hotel with cr@ppy bandwidth (more common than I'd like), so thanks for that!

I am definitely not a fan of the new video player. The red bar is distracting and for me, it doesn't go away. Also, there is no difference between the low and high quality option, and I'm sad there is no HD option for regular users anymore. I think I'll be watching my shows on other sites until the bugs are fixed with this video player and I can watch the shows in decent quality again.

The Captions don't match up on ANY of the videos i've watched on the new player. it makes it REALLY hard to enjoy the drama when i have to remember what flashed across the screen as long as 30 seconds before! I understand a little bit of what i'm listening to, but not enough to watch my dramas without the captions.please fix this1 Thanks super much!!

I enjoy the video player upgrades and didn't experience any issues at all (I watched BOF). My favorite part is the subtitle options, which is fantastic! Great work, Drama Fever :D

The picture is no longer crystal clear with the new player! The picture is just a little bit "fuzzy" now. I have tried both the low speed and the high and both pictures are FUZZY! It USED to be a crystal clear picture with the old player! ONCE again, DramaFever, you have messed up something that didn't need fixing! I used to be able to come to Dramafever KNOWING that the picture would be perfectly clear every time. Not anymore. I have visited other Kdrama sites and have noticed the lousy quality of their videos and would gladly come back to Dramafever to watch the show on a clear screen... but NOPE, you've gone and ruined that. NOW I can no longer enjoy a beautiful crystal clear picture anymore and you have ruined my watching dramas on this site. Now your site has a lousy picture just like those other sites. Way to go. I say once again... Dramafever USED TO BE my favorite site to watch Kdramas. NOT so anymore.

the new player is a great idea since one of my complaints was that the subtitles sometimes were not visible , I really like the player but it crashes depending on the device you are watching. I use drama fever on 4 different devices , SMart TV, my laptop, Galaxy note, My android tablet and I have different experiences in each one. On my PC the player works great no problems so far, I have watched Boys over Flowers, Personal Taste. In My SMartTV's Browser I not able to watch the videos anymore , which is really frustrating considering this was the main way I watched DRAMA Fever I was able to watch the dramas with the old player but the new player doesnt work it has an error message that says that i need to enable cookies but they are already enabled I dont get it... pLEASE MAKE A PLAYER FOR THE SMARTTVS asap OR Fix this error please... In my galaxy note I used to be able to use the APP but since the last update to the site it no longer works saying that I am not connected to the network but that is not true since I am connected to VIKI and it plays with no problem... I tried opening it via the phones browser the site opens up fine with the exception the that serch bar and the sign in doesn't appear making it harder to find my things perhaps an additional link at the bottom of the site will help... the top menu does not work with the exception of the Browse link adding to the complication of being able to find the drama that I want but other than that the new player works great when I used it to watch Faith. On my Tablet (Asus Transformer Infinity with Ice Cream Sandwich) Everything worked great , the app , the site with the android browser no problem , with Chrome the site doesnt work. After the update to the site the site worked but the app no longer worked saying that I am not in the network (when I was connected ) I did not get that and it is frustrating considering this is how I watched it. After the new player was added the site not the app worked anymore. I experimented with the firefox browser and it started working fine so far. It seems that each change to the site affects something else. Before all these updates the site worked fine on all devices . Even though I like part of the updates I would much rather have it work across the board. Regardless I believe this is just a matter to keep improving since over all this is still the best site with the greated variety of dramas , still my favorite so as long as you guys take into account our comments when making updates Im behind you guys. Although REPLY 1997 was not listed as one of the dramas with the new player it still shows. The new player is there and it's awful. I'm not sure what is going on but NONE of the episodes are working for me. I'm terribly disappointed...

I've been watching Bridal Mask and it seems the quality of the picture is not up to par, subs missing or appear beforehand and disappear before I can even read them. I just switched to HD and no change in picture quality. Being able to change font size is nice for those who need it. For some unknown reason, I can't go past page one of the comments, why that should be affected by the player I don't understand, but it never happened till the new player showed up and is definitely annoying.

  I am having the exact same problems as you. I really appreciate that they are trying to make things better, but when that doesn't happen, I think they should just leave well enough alone. I get so frustrated with all the problems now that Dramafever is my LAST choice for watching a drama!

And the problems never end... Well I've managed to finally get a clear picture, but NOW the problem is that every time I pause a drama, then come back to un-pause it, the picture goes right back to being fuzzy again so I have to switch back to Hi again. BUT I have to first switch to Low, then back to high, low again and then finally back to High before the picture actually clears up. But I have to do all that *every single time* I un-pause it (and, for one reason or another, I actually pause quite frequently). Will you please, please, please fix these problems with your new player? Or go back to the old one. Whichever, I need these problems fixed. I have been extremely frustrated since all the new changes came about.

I'm also not a very big fan of the new video player. Although I like the option to be able to change the subtitles to our preference, it would be nice if they stayed that way so that I wouldn't have to change it for every episode I watch. I also noticed that the new player does not save my progress when I go to my queue. I left off on episode 7 of Arang and the Magistrate and watched episode 8 with the new player, but it still says that I only finished up to episode 7. This can be a real issue for me since I sometimes don't watch dramas straight through and like to come back to them, so if it doesn't save how many minutes I've watched, then it would start right from the beginning. In comparison, I've watched a drama that still has the old player and it works just fine.

While there are several new features that I can appreciate and several that I cannot, there is one glaring issue that I have. I cannot view any episode using the new video player in full screen. I get the sound and the subtitles but no picture. This is a MUST fix. There was never a problem watching episodes in full screen before. In fact I can view any other show in the old format and have no problem. What is the fix for this? Thank you DramaFever!!

The only thing that's good about the new player is that you can change the size, font & color. Everything else is annoying. The quality is bad, the red bar is annoying, and the subs are off sometimes. The old player was less complicated & simple. Please change it back to the old ones.

Followup to my last post: It does seem that any shows I've watched before, and thus would have checkmarks for the episodes watched will not put the check mark back automatically after I have 1) cleared the check and 2) then re-watched said episode. I have to manually put the check back for each one--even if I've watched that episode in its entirety--not just skipping through and so possibly not tripping the minutes viewed required to get the auto check. Also, I've noticed that since the addition of the new player, my Queue is not updating properly at all. The list on my history does seem to have an accurate record, but for whatever reason, the Queue is still stuck at whatever the last epidosode I watched was. This persists even if I click the "next" button on the Queqe to partially watch an episode (trying to watch enough to trigger the automated ticker). It will not acknowledge that effort, and instead stays on the same epidsode recorded from before the changeover. I'm guessing this may be because someone forgot to synch the new player to the queue, but I have no way of knowing for sure. Anyhoo, good luck with sanding out the rough spots. Although it is nice to be able to change the font color when needed, I'm still not really won over with this new player. It is what it is, and hopefully if you stay with the new one, the bugs will get ironed out in a reasonable amount of time. That weird pause that sometimes happens with the subs can get on my nerves if I'm watching for more than two hours or so.

I'm not really a fan of the way the red bar looks and how big it is. There also seems to be no difference between low quality and high quality now. I definitely prefer the old video player.

I'm okay with the new player except for one thing. This is more of a preference for me, but I prefer the subtitles higher on the screen, like in the old player. Because I notice the subtitles are located towards the bottom of the screen. If the subtitles are located a bit higher, like the it was on the old video player, I'd be fine with it.

I haven't had any issues with the new player, but I've only used it on my laptop. I didn't really find any issues the previous viewer either though... It's nice that the bar fades and when it's active the subtitles are bumped up.

The new player isn't that bad (it does look a little bit bulky once the options for font pops up), I like the red bar that shows up when your mouse goes over the video. One really nit picky thing is, I actually don't like the font for the subtitles... it may be just me, but I like the rounder subtitles from before.

I've had a few subtitle syncing issues, but it seems to fix itself if I log out of the site and log back in again. I've had no problems viewing the video, though I didn't read this post initially and was very confused about the lower image quality at first >.<. Figured it out though! I like the option to turn subtitles off, it will come in handy for school (teacher is thinking about having us translate scenes from dramas). I don't really mind commercials, but the HD option has me considering a premium membership for the first time. I think once the subtitle syncing issue is resolved I'll like the new player. particularly the lo/hi quality option for when I'm somewhere without the best wifi. I am fine with the default subs style, but I've noticed other people saying that switching styles doesn't stay. I mean that they have to switch styles each ep. Would it be possible for this to be a "settings" option in our profiles or something? I've also noticed the issue with "My History". If I click on the little drop down it always takes me to the first episode. If I "view all" I can select the proper episode. Not a huge deal, I just wanted to make sure you knew that there are other people having this issue. I'm pretty easy to please, changes on websites don't bother me much as long as the site remains functional. If the sub syncing is fixed there's a fair to middlin' chance I'll sign up for a premium membership too, just for the HD ;)

I use my Roku the majority of the time but it is difficult to see yellow subtitles on bright backgrounds, Running Man, Strong Heart, etc. I often have to pause and sit right up next to the tv to read the subtitles since they blend with the background. The new player is nice and the black background would be perfect on the Roku.

There are things that I like and dislike about the new player. The big red bar that pops up when you scroll over the video is a bit big and tends to take over the screen although it does goes away after a few. And if you try and open the sub options they take over the whole page and if your opening them on a smaller screen you cant see all the options. Also you have to constantly reset the font size you want everytime you open an episode cause the settings never stick and thats a pain. And some of the subs have been off and that it probably the most annoying of them all. I hope you all will work out all the kinks real soon. THANKS :)

For the most part I LOVE the new player, BUT there are a few bugs... PROS: Option to have a slightly higher quality, I really appreciate that. I LOVE the way the subs are organized now - how you can change colour, font size, or even turn them off (this is good for when I know more Korean and want to test myself). The switch from episode to episode is better. CONS: The subs are slightly delayed which sometimes gets them all messed up and timed wrong for the people speaking. And sometimes the subs only appear for a slit second, and I have to rewind to see what they said - which can be frustrating. The "Resume Watching" button doesn't work. It just resets to episode 1, and then I have to remember where I was. (Thank you for bring the check marks back because that helps with that a little) So all in all, I am happy with the changes, but the bugs make it a little irritating.

I am currently watching a couple of dramas. With the new player I get bad quality image with the low quality selected. If I choose the high quality it starts to buffer and that's annoying. With the previous player I had no problem with the quality being what it was. Also sometimes the subbs are off. Suddenly the subs appear normal while the drama is playing but the the next sub appears for a split second and then it disappears, that's annoying. Its nice to have the pop up bar bigger and with that red color. Other than that nothing else really makes a difference to me. As long as I can view the images and read the subtitle through with no interruptions beside commercials I'm ok.

I agree with most of the previous comments. The thoughts behind the changes are great but unfortuately it is making the videos glitchy and the subs the are delayed. Kinda frustrating. Hope those issues can be resolved. Mahalo.

I really the new video player . I like that the tracking bar is large enough to see, the choice of font size. I especially like how it queues into the next episode when you are done watching the current episode. As for the font, if you could make It just a bit bolder it would be perfect! Thanks for bringing back the checks :) Keep up the excellent work. You guys are just so awesome!! Thanks again Dramafever.

I love that I can now choose not to use subtitles, and I am happy that you are working on Spanish subtitles. However, I do not notice any difference between low and high quality settings. I want to watch in high quality so I can see the Korean writing on the screen (not the subtitle part), but it's too grainy to read it. My computer speed is fast enough for clear picture, but when I set it to high quality, nothing changes.

So far I really like most of the changes. The only two bugs are that the subs are a little delayed sometimes, and the segmenting is weird. There are several moments where the commercial starts playing mid-sentence. I've noticed this both in Arang and Faith.

I like the new player except for the advertisements that play in the middle of the videos. I don't mind advertisements, but I prefer them at the beginning so the drama or show I am watching is not suddenly interrupted. I hope this can be switched back soon!

The subtitles seem to often get out of sync on the new player. If I stop and refresh the page, it is often back in sync, but that doesn't mean it lasts! With episode 16 of Answer Me 1997 it is HORRIBLE. I have to stop watching and hope it is fixed later on. Sometimes when the player needs to buffer, it will stop for a second, play for a few seconds, stop for a second, play for a few seconds, .... VERY annoying! It should just pause for along enough time and then keep going. I love the subtitle choices and the "Play the next episode" choice at the end of an episode. How about adding korean subtitles for those who would like to learn Korean?

My experiences with Drama fever support service have always been excellent. Thank you for listening to your viewers. I have no problem running the new interface. The video is very clear and the ability to change the text size is a plus. I appreciate you putting back the “check mark” option after watching a video. Also, having the ability to pick up watching right where you left off is awesome. Great Job Drama Fever Team! Thanks.

The new player is not as good as the old one, frankly speaking. I am extremely disappointed with the segmenting. The subtitles on all dramas I've viewed with the new player are not in sync with the audio. This is so annoying to me that I want the old player back. HD is great but not when you have to refresh your page every few minutes because you'd like to know who is saying what. Please fix this bug. If it can't be fixed, TRASH the player and start again. I don't want to pay premium prices for a product that is frustrating instead of enjoyable.

At first, I liked the new player. I liked the look of it, and I liked having options for subtitles. What I didn't/don't like about it, is that it defaults me for the low quality. I have a highspeed dsl connection. I shouldn't be defaulted the low quality. Every time I change it to Hi, it screws up the subtitles. They subtitles will show up five to ten seconds before a word is even uttered and it takes me forever to get it to work properly. And then a lot of times when I change it to Hi, it still plays in low quality. I don't like staring at a pixelated screen. I don't like listening to a show that sounds like it's under water. I don't have these problems with the old player. I understand wanting to better the experience, but my opinion is that you've just cheapened it with this new player. I understand you're testing it. But the longer this player is up, for me, I'm noticing, the more these glitches happen. Dear bob, I'd like to watch one show glitch free without having to switch to a different website. I love you Drama Fever, and you're killing me with this. Trash this garbage and go back to the old player, or figure out how to fix this. I'd hate to have to watch everything on a site with subtitles I can't exactly trust because the video player here sucks.

DramaFever, so yeah, um, the new player is not working at all for me. If I pause, and then push play again, it goes back to the beginning of the episode, or just skips to the next episode. Another problem is when a commercial plays, it says a second one will also play, but at the beginning of the second commercial while it's still playing, the episode will start up again. If I pause the episode to let the commercial run, then the episode just reverts back to the beginning of the episode again, or skips to the end. It makes it incredibly frustrating to watch dramas on DramaFever. Also, even though it says it keeps your place so you can resume viewing...it most definitely is not doing that...is this just me, or are there others experiencing these exasperating problems as well?

Í'm starting to not like this so much I'm getting pissed off I tried playing on internet explore and firefox but the loading sucks I reload on both still bad I'm premium user I tried Lo/Hi/HD and nothing seems to be doing much I even turned off and on computer nothing the show starts but stops a lot to load which takes to long

I like all the new changes DramaFever has made to the site but there are a few concerns. I love the organization and how much better the site looks a runs, but I am having issues with the new player. It's choppy and it takes me almost 2-3 hours to watch a one 1 hour drama. I even had my laptop checked out because it's older and it's not my system. (mac) So, so minor suggestions: 1)maybe an alternate player and 2) the option for premium member or other members to choose if they want hi or low definition players to automatically run with their account. :) I love DramaFever!

I'm not bothered about all the fancy text options for subtitles - I'd just like to be able to get ANY AT ALL. The only option any of the videos have for me is 'subtitles: none'. No trouble with the video playing but it's not much good when I can't understand a word anyone's saying...

I like the new player. The only thing that needs to be fixed is the red circle that indicates buffering. It comes up every 10-15 secs. I'm having a hard time finishing the drama.

Love the new player, but it has real problems with android devices like the Samsun Galaxy Note, the Xoom tablet and resently, I have been having problems with the server not allow me to connect because it is overloaded.
