A short promotional film on Taiwan tourism will be screened in South Korea this weekend. The fourteen-minute film stars Taiwan’s Ivy Chen and South Korea’s Jo Jung Suk. The screenings will occur in Seoul on Saturday and Busan on Sunday, with the main characters attending the showing. The purpose of the short is to attract mainly young backpackers to Taiwan and is part of the Tourism Bureau’s efforts to achieve its goal of attracting 280,000 visits from South Korea by the end of the year. The actors are seen cycling around Sun Moon Lake, a popular tourist resort that is advertised as the epitome of Taiwan’s exceptional scenery, cuisine and culture.
They made such a good pairing by selecting the two, don’t you think?
