Dakota Fanning Responds to G-Dragon Rumors

If you haven’t heard, Miss Dakota Fanning has been spotted all over Korea. She’s in town with her baby sister Elle to promote J. Estina jewelers. It’s also been reported that Dakota reached out to none of than G-Dragon’s management in the hopes of arranging a get-together. And we can’t blame her for that. However, G-Dragon, being the international pop superstar that he is, was not able to find time in his uber-busy schedule, and thus they were forced to postpone any plans of a “date”… or so we thought. Unfortunately, hopes of a G-Dragon/Dakota power couple were dashed when Fanning’s rep was called for comment: ”Dakota Fanning never called G-Dragon, and they never promised to meet in Korea. There’s no truth to the rumors.” They could’ve made a cute couple.

first of all, this is like, week old news. secondly, you guys are ridiculous. your precious "oppa" is gonna date someone someday, and you'll just have to learn to deal. smh. delusional fangirls.. besides, YG said her company DID reach out the them. so... someone's lying anyways.

  Not delusional. I already know that it's a 1/100% of me meeting him, it's just that I (and many other people) do not like this couple. And if they do ever date all the "fangirls" will be okay. And yes, someone is lying or the media made it up. Who knows..

He can date anyone, but for some reason, I don't approve of Dakota. I guess it would be a good girl/bad boy type relationship that all of us girls dream about. Come on, y'all know GD's a bad boy. lol

Pff! C'mon! be realistic, people, GDragon, international pop superstar? O_O Maybe in Southest Asia, but none knows him in Europe/Americas/Africa/Middle East. Besides, Dakota Fanning is an Hollywood actress, did you see Charlotte's web? did you heard the voice of Lilo? :S Be realistic with the news, guys :S

  @ Daniel Alvarado: I'm not sure the definition of "international" has changed, but once GD (or any other artist for that matter) is known outside of their home country, it is considered international. And GD has worked in the U.S., mind you, he has collaborated with well known industry figures like Teddy Riley the superproducer, and Flo-Rida, an artist whose work has been on the Top40 in the U.S. In addition to that, BIGBANG, which he is the LEADER of, has toured ALL OVER THE WORLD, and it does include tours in Peru, Singapore, the UK, France, several in the US, several in Japan and several in China, along with a dozen other countries. YOU need to be realistic. There's a difference between the news and your opinion. The world in your little mind where Dakota Fanning is a citizen of does not count as a country.

    Kinda have to agree with Riri that I am not GD is all that famous in the states.. I am sure that he has come to select cities here but the truth is that you really have to establish yourself on the social circuit.. I know Psy became Uber popular here in the states but truth b told its difficult enuf for americans to make it as an international star... He would probably become more popular in the states if he did date a celebrity like Dakota Fanning... I'm just saying...Not trying to hate..

No one knows him in Europe or the Americas? Um, BIGBANG sold out 4 shows here, and 2 in Peru I think? They won an award from MTV Europe? Someone knows them. He might not be Justin Beiber, but I'm thinking thats a selling point. It's just a matter of time at this point.

i respect those comments that just state that they don't think they'd be a good couple but some of yall are really harsh and childish.. i LOVE g dragon with all my heart but some of you are that physco, annoying fan girls you see in dramas and you don't even realise it. Jiyong is gonna get a girlfriend eventually (if he hasn't already got one) and i wouldn't doubt that he won't announce it when he does due to you guys. If you're really a worthy fan of GD's then you'll respect and be happy for whatever choices he makes for himself, this kind of thing is none of our buisness anyway really. For the record anyway, i absolutely adore dakota, she's such a bubbly, pretty girl and i'd be happy if she dated my bias anyday. Rumor or not, i'm happy either way.. love Dakota but if it's all a fraud then i still have a chance >:) hahah
