Netizens Still Outraged by MBLAQ’s Mir and Sister Go Eun Ah’s Controversial Kiss

All right, so the actual kiss took place like two years ago, but netizens can’t seem to just let it go and move on. In a recent interview Go Eun Ah, an actress you may have seen in Extreme K-POP Survival, was talking about how people have been judging her ever since the kiss happened. She and younger brother Mir, member of Idol group MBLAQ, haven’t even been able to walk comfortably beside each other when they hang out because people think they’re involved in some crazy incestuous drama.

According to her that’s so not even the case. She explained that Mir is her only brother, her younger brother and she loves him a lot, and shows affection towards him. Now we all know sometimes netizens get out of hand, but the editing of this clip seriously did not help the situation. It’s completely obvious that she was playing around with him trying to give him a kiss, Mir was fighting it and even pushed her away, and was totally embarrassed after she got him good right on the lips.Notice the video slows down and background music that appears when the kiss takes place:

So what do you think? Is this the unfortunate outcome of editing for entertainment purposes? Or should Go Eun Ah have acted more responsibly, knowing the camera was rolling?

By the way, don’t they really look alike?!

Come on! I know that kissing, especially on the lips, is not a publicly acceptable act in Korean culture, but this is so obviously a joking around between siblings and in many cultures, family members kiss on the lips in greeting each other. Get over it.

This is just ridiculous. They are brother and sister and as a noona myself I know exactly what she means. I love my brother and I tease him for kisses all the time. And really, this happened 2 years ago! I think people need to find something else to worry about.

OMG they're brother and sisters for crying out loud!! My mom and aunties still like trying to kiss mu unlce who is their little brother. Its just for fun and tease them not because they are in a secret relationship or something. Some netizens take things way out of hand. I bet some of them even do that to their younger sibling to mess around. I hope they get over this so they can actually be able to just hang out together like how siblings should be able to without any drama from people.

I agree with most of the comments listed... This just appears to be sibling teasing and having fun... I think those of us that have fam acted out with their siblings the same way... I grew up in a family that believes in affection and making sure that everyone knows that we that love each other. We kiss one another all the time in my family even sometimes on the lips no big deal... stop making a mountain out of nothing but true brother and sisterly love...

Ok what I see is an older sister who probably hasn't been able to see her younger brother as often and decided to play around a bit before having to leave. Both lead busy schedules and it was obvious she hadn't seen him often if you see the full clip. I think netizens just want to find little things to pick at... Most siblings with a good relationship with each other like to mess with each other just to annoy or pick with them out of love, its just what siblings do.

That's the silliest load of clap I have ever heard. They're siblings for nutcracker's sake. I have little siblings that I have kissed. Honestly, they're siblings and they're going to treat each other like siblings. When you're siblings, you shouldn't have to think about how other people may not have the maturity level to accept such an innocent gesture. When you're siblings, you shouldn't have to worry that whenever you want to show affection to them, someone is going to have a little pitch fit about it. And even if they're famous, why shouldn't they do that? Is it wrong to show people that Mir and his sister love each other? Gosh, I'm a Mir fan, he's a freaking babe, but I don't care about what happened at all. Only crack loaded up "fans" and "netizens" will actually cry about this. I mean I was surprised that he kissed someone until I realized it was his sister. After that, I didn't even CARE. Someone's got to tell this to those who are bawling over this to grow up and that they will NEVER have a chance with him. They don't need to even be sad over this.
