Psy to Dennis Rodman: “I’m from South Korea!”

Dennis Rodman—not typically known for his activism—recently headed to North Korea on a mission of peace. While there, Rodman tweeted: “Maybe I’ll run into the Gangnam Style dude while I’m here.” Psy, ever the jokester, tweeted back: “@dennisrodman I’m from #SOUTH man!!!” Somewhere, Carmen Electra is laughing.

Denis should just play basketball and keep his mouth closed. Please! He's the last person I'd want on a "Mission of Peace". How embarrassing!

    I don't think Margaret was lumping all Americans in her comment. She was saying Rodman's tweet was pure American ignorance and then let it be known she is American as well. I agree somewhat. There is ignorance and then there is Dennis Rodman. He should stay in North Korea and wait for Psy to show up. LOL

Ok he really did make a common mistake. A lot of people get North and South Korea mixed up just because they have no real intrest in the country. So I do not blame him or is going to say he is ignorant because the American school systems really teaches little to nothing on the Korean War and which side is the 'good' side.

  Kumumu, they teach enough for us to know the difference. Besides, since the world has gotten smaller thanks to the internet, there are a lot of Americans becoming fans of J-pop and K-pop and getting into those cultures more. There really is no excuse for anyone not to know the difference between North and South Korea. Rodman is just an idiot.

Dennis could be joking about S & N mixed up. Psy replied with a laughter "k k", which means he took it well. No sense calling Dennis as ignorant. It's same act as American calling Psy all kinds of names after news media reported so wrong about Psy's anti- war protest. So it only displays ignorance on both case. People are so quick to call names or be hateful when they don't know all the fact. I'm glad that Dennis visited N. Korea. Getting to know each other can break the barriers and develop better relationship & understanding. I'm sure that Psy would have gone there if he thinks it would help the relationship, if invited. They are both great guys.

What kind of facts are you talking about? This is not the first time Rodman has displayed his ignorance for us to see. He has done so many many times. It's annoying and very embarrassing the rest of us. Trust me when I tell you that Dennis Rodman going to any country as a representative of the U.S.A. has the potential to end badly.

Dennis's de man! About Kim, do some reading about North Korea, the Korean war and the USA's refusal to consider a formal peace treaty and normalization of USA-NK relations. Don't swallow all the propaganda. This story has two sides. Anyway, Dennis is going to be smeared for a time and that's too bad since so far, whether he knows it or not, he's made more diplomatic headway with NK than Mr Kerry. Dennis's de man!
