Netizens Outraged by Japanese Model's Comments About G-Dragon

Japanese Top model Masuwaka Tsubasa’s recent comment regarding BIG BANG’s successful leader G-Dragon has garnered a negative response from fans. On a talk show, Masuwaka told a story about when she went to BIG BANG’s concert held in Japan last year and revealed that G-Dragon had put his arms around her when posing for a picture. After commenting that she has no experience with any other guys other than her ex-husband of eight years, she revealed, “I didn’t like G-Dragon’s actions.” And to make matters more awkward, one of the other talk show guests was BIG BANG’s Daesung.

After the show aired, she was inundated with negative comments from BIG BANG fans and other netizens who criticized her for being “inconsiderate” towards G-Dragon. As a response, Masuwaka tweeted, “I was joking. But if you guys were offended, I’m sorry.” However, the hate comments did not stop and fans demanded her to officially apologize.

It was inappropriate to make such a delayed fuss over a friendly photo opportunity. She should be so lucky to have that opportunity, and it sure doesn't look like G-Dragon was getting fresh!

She shouldn't be hated even if she was serious or joking. In fact she may have felt uncomfortable with gds actions and that's okay. People are just overreacting and she doesn't need to be put on the spotlight to be hated. Leave her alone.

That looks like a very natural pose that many artist take when taking picture with their fans. Its probably just a default action. I don't think he meant any harm. Although I have to say that netizens tend to take matters way too far sometimes. She shouldn't be receiving hate mail, but maybe she also shouldn't have said it on interview? She's bound to know how crazy fans can be.

Look... Culturally speaking, I don't think she was wrong to be honest. Sure, it may have seemed awkward and she ought to have spoken to G-Dragon about it before/when the shot was being taken, but touching really is a bit of a no-no in certain cultures. Also, personally, if a guy I wasn't really familiar with personally put his arms on me (especially after having little experience with guys since my ex of nearly a decade!), I would have been a tad freaked out as well. I wouldn't care how hot he was, LOL. I do agree, however, that saying it in public was a bit tactless. Nevertheless, G-Dragon should have kept his hands to himself.

I think she could have said it a little better. I understand her though because I feel uncomfortable around people I don't really know either. So she shouldn't be receiving hate thats just ridiculous. I think instead she should have told GD before the picture was taken.

That was stupid of her. Complaining about it after a year. Besides...GF takes a picture like that with everyone...it may seem like a joke but it's not she Does need to apologize. If it was a Joke, she should apologize for making GD look bad and seem like a perv when he isn't and he did nothing wrong.

I think she over reacted a bit. It was just a hand on her shoulder, he probably thought that because she was a fan she would appreciate him being friendly. That being said I also think the fans over reacted.

(1) If she felt uncomfortable, she felt uncomfortable. Period. Doesn't matter who he is. (2) If she was joking...probably would have been a good idea to make that clear. (3) I know that our cultures are different, but when it said that his arms were "around her"...the picture posted is totally not what I envisioned. *shrug*

Is it wrong for you to post articles like this about people throwing a fit online and calling it entertainment news? Yes. It's not news unless you post it. You guys are making the most petty, uninteresting things "news." Poor little GDragon, right? Good thing he has an anonymous gang of powerless internet bullies to stick up for him. Sheesh. Give your readers a break and WORK and THINK for your blog material instead of just giving us the old 'copy/paste' drek from the tabloids, oh?
