Um Tae Woong Drops Out of Level 7 Civil Servant

It was revealed that Uhm Tae Woong‘s appearance in the drama Level 7 Civil Servant will discontinue after the fourth episode, which aired on January 31st. And his grand exit for his cold-hearted but very much loved character? He gets shot while looking for ways to take revenge for his parents.

Up until the recent episode, Uhm Tae Woong was praised for his chillingly thrilling performance on the drama, and viewers were anticipating more. However, finding out that he will be leaving after making such a deep impression left the viewers in shock.

Many fans expressed their disappointment through comments and a few comments gave the fans hopes as they wished for Um Tae Woong’s miraculous comeback towards the end of the drama.

Haven't seen it but he was the bright light in what starts out as a dismal drama. Hope it gets better.

I'm disappointed, i havent watched episode 4 yet but i was hoping to see him to the end or near the end. Was his role suppose to be a cameo? Hopefully he gets another role soon, like a lead-role again.

Um Tae Woong is quoted as saying he joined the drama to support Joo Won. He was also cast as a special appearance. Your tag is misleading.

I did not like Level 7 Civil Servent as it started off like a child like kind of drama. Nothing comapared to IRIS, that I consider to be one of the very best spy films ever.

He was only a cameo/special appearance so your title is really misleading. It sounds as if he was unprofessional and dropped a drama that just started to air! With that said, I don't mind that his character was axed, but I'd prefer if we have a recurring cameo once a week... or at least let him cross path with Joo Won's character!

It was a cameo appearance. He didn't "dropout". God, ya'll like to stir the pot. Get a grip and quit trying to make controversy.
