The 2012 DramaFever Awards have begun! This is your chance to choose your favorite dramas, performances, relationships and moments from a great year in drama. Join an overstuffed podcast this week with Dan, Jackie, Annette, Jenny, Yale, Bobby and newbie Luis as we talk about some of our favorites from the year. I wish some of the voting selections were different. I didn't listen to the podcast so I don't know if it addressed how these were chosen. I wish I could've voted for ones that weren't listed.

  I agree. I seriously LOVED Wild Romance. If there was a Best Comedy (or RomCom), that would have HAD to be it!

Wow. How did I go from being such an enthusiastic, encouraged fan of this site to feeling so completely discouraged and alienated. Mostly it's because of the creepy blogposts over the past month or two. And then because as a premium member I'm having to leave this site to watch the Korean shows I'm personally interested in. Then it seems a huge conflict of interest to have DF pick the nominees for these awards and leave us out of the process of rewarding our actors and shows. That would have gone further in engaging your readers in your site than those creepy questions bloggers have been asking at the end of their posts. Where did you guys get your social media theory anyway? Part of social media involves more than just posting details from other articles and then asking a lame question. The bloggers might want to return to the post and moderate or further stimulate the discussion. I'm not a rabid netizen or a rabid fan. I don't enjoy being upset by my entertainment site. The podcast is normally a highlight to listen to. I couldn't make it 1/2 way through this one. Please re-think what you're doing here. It's really not fun at this point. You might want to actually confer with your paid audience for what they'd like instead of whatever other process you've been using. I guess my next step will be to try and dialogue with management about those blogs and other issues. But I'm putting this here first.

  Most award shows/ceremonies that I am aware of give the public a handful of selections to choose from and you pick what you like best from that selection. // You will probably get a response from DF faster if you email them directly, rather than post it here. Just my $0.02.

    Thanks Sarah. I know most organizations give the nominees. Maybe I assume how much this organization wants to involve us. And how progressive and 'fresh' they want to be. And how much 'Fighting@" they want to do for us and the industry. People's tastes are so different that someone's always disappointed, too. No problem there. I was mainly trying to communicate with the staff and the group as well as getting out some of my deepening frustration so I could better process what the heck this site is about or becoming. Apologies everyone for hijacking the thread, but I am totally seriously about those whacked blogposts. Really dysfunctional, imo. Anyway~ I thought the OST for Full House 2 was about the worst music I've ever heard, haha. Which was strange for a show about musicians. I could go on, but I'll only say that Kim Chi Family, Tree without Roots, and Salaryman are very underrepresented. This 'biased' selection and the tone of the podcast was just the straw that evoked my ranting. I do agree there's a difference between 'Best Actor' and Favorite Actor. We should have designations for both, imo. But we weren't given a voice. *hint hint* Is that a 'male' thing? I think it is! I also felt best script should have been a category. It would have been nice to have 'worst script' and 'worst actor' too, but... since someone decided they're giving actual awards, that wouldn't work, lol.

I don't understand why LOVE RAIN was left out, especially out of the best kiss category.... :-(

Great polls! Most of my faves were included (Padam, Rooftop, Bridal Mask, Answer Me :). And that poster! Micky Yoochun is in it twice right? hehe

Hey are you guys still doing podcasts? I know some people seemed to be dissapointed by this particular one, but personally I loved this and all of your other podcast. And I really miss Dan's monotone "hello". I hope you bring them back :)
