VIDEO: Taeyeon Hits Fan with Baseball During Hiroshima Concert

A fancam video of SNSD’s recent performance in Hiroshima went viral because Taeyeon accidentally hit a fan with a baseball. As a part of the show, the girls started throwing baseballs out to fans. The video starts off with Taeyeon throwing baseballs into the crowd, when suddenly she stops with an embarrassed look on her face and quickly scurries away. When the rest of the members go back to her, she explains what happens and apologizes to the fan.

My question is, why were they throwing baseballs into the crowd?

The bad thing about this is that she ran away after hitting the fan in the face with it but came back after explaining it to the members. The right way would be apologizing once it happened.

They should have TOSSED lightly rather than throw them. The idea is stupid but the implementation was worse. Running away and trying to hide!?!?!? smh! I would have started booing right away.

What a SHAME!~ =___= The whole idea of throwing baseball into the audience was stupid enough, but to hit someone and run away AND not apologize right away was just plan-o RUDE!~ Those fan PAY to watch you, not for you to attack them and be rude about it!~ At least apologize when the it actually happen, INSTEAD of going to your band members, explaining it to them AND THEN APOLOGIZE! I bet the rest of them told her to apologize, that's why she did, if they didn't tell her I BET for a MATTER of fact she won't! =___= *Don't go at me here SNSD's fan... JUST stating my thought about this.

  The cost of insuring an event like this is very high because of lawsuits. These were NOT baseballs. No one was hurt, the fan was shocked. The artist was embarrassed. She apologized. Everyone is O K A Y ... I have been to many concerts where items are tossed to the audience - from rubber hockey pucks and t-shirts to beach balls and wristbands. This group and the companies that promote them would not be so thoughtless as to do something dangerous...

Watching what happened, it's easy to say that what she did was wrong, but in the moment you don't really know what you would do. In the video it looks like she first had to compose herself, laughing while apologizing would have been an insult to the fan that was hit. Then she panicked and possibly feared having the baseball thrown back at her. Finally, it sounds like they turned off the music, she explains what happened to the whole crowd, and she properly apologizes.

Ah, smh. They weren't even baseballs. They were rubber/plastic balls (that I'm assuming had their signatures on them because they were doing that in their last concert in Japan, except they were pink that time). I don't think it's that weird to accidentally hit someone's head while throwing them in a CROWD full of people with no empty space. ANYWAYS! Her reaction was really cute! I wish I could be hit by Taeyeon's rubber balls too D:

Ya know, those who claim outrage at her actions, I doubt they would of stopped and immedately appologized to the person they hit. She was embarrassed and scared by what happened.what she did was a natural response, but she also apologized to the person. For those that stated they would sue, that is just a sad comment on their outlook of life.
