Oguri Shun Meets Stanley Kubrick in Latest ‘Shocking’ Role

Multitalented actor/director Oguri Shun will take on the challenging, iconic role of A Clockwork Orange’s vicious antihero Alex starting next January. The classic ultraviolent film directed by Stanley Kubrick was based on Anthony Burgess‘ novel, who also wrote this stage adaptation. This will also mark the first time that Oguri has sung on stage, in a production studded with “video scenes and music.”

You have to see this: the new trailer for My Girlfriend is a Gumiho reveals the comic, fanciful tone of the Hong Sisters‘ latest. Starring Lee Seung Gi and Shin Mina, the show so far looks like a lot of fun. Girlfriend lands on August 11th.

The year of the Gumiho already began for Tale of the Fox’s Child, which takes a more traditional, horror-themed view of the mythical creature. New pics from behind the scenes of the creepy drama show the cast giving their best zombie glares.

Yoon Eun Hye models the 2010 Fall line from fashion house Joinus. The shoot features Yoon wandering around an elegant mansion, and then… donning leather gloves and a whip?

A couple of new stills from the keenly anticipated, possibly campy rock drama I Am Legend show Kim Jung Eun (playing a well-kept Real Housewives type with a rebellious streak) in lockdown. Her character lands in jail after a bar brawl, all the while wearing haute couture of course.

Finally, a charity basketball game between Show Luo and Jay Chou almost ended in tears when Jay got smacked in the face with the ball. Still, both Show and Jay were able to make 7 baskets each, raising about $35,000 US for Yao Ming’s Yao Foundation.

Idol Groups Only Have a Few Words in Solo Parts as Number of Members Increase

“The Beauty of Four Seconds.” This is the snarky label from the Internet for Heechul, member of an idol group Super Junior who only has four seconds of solo singing time in “Sorry Sorry,” the title song for the group’s third album. Together, there are 13 members of Super Junior who sang this song. Since all 13 divide up a single song, each member can call himself a “singer” after singing for only four seconds.

New Kpop boy band 20star out to beat Super Junior’s record

Word on the street is that there’s going to be a new boy band called 20star that is going to debut soon. Another word on the the street says they’re going to have 16 members, beating out Super Junior’s long-lasting record of being the most-membered group!

New Pokemon Movie is a certified Japanese Box Office hit!

Recently, the newest addition to the long list of Pokemon movies, “Pocket Monsters Diamond & Pearl the Movie: Genei no Hasha Zoroark / Pocket Monsters Diamond & Pearl the Movie: Phantom Ruler: Zoroark,” was released in Japanese theaters. Upon release it immediately claimed the 2nd spot on Kogyo Tsushinsha’s chart and the 3rd spot on Box Office Mojo.
